Riverside Cottage
Riverside Cottage is a simple, square-ish wooden cottage for one or two people: you walk straight into a 40 m² living room and kitchen that runs across the whole front of the house, with the bedroom and a generous bathroom side by side at the back.
One open room, one quiet room and few corridors make it cheap to heat and easy to build as a log or timber frame house. A dark gable roof covers it all, and a low fence closes a small garden around the house — a weekend place by the water, a garden house next to a family home or a first home of your own.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the Riverside Cottage plan?
The house is 8 × 9 m, about 72 m² on one level: a 40 m² open living room and kitchen, an 18 m² bedroom and a 14 m² bathroom.
Can I add a second bedroom?
Yes. Open the plan in the free Geoniks 3D editor and split the bedroom or the bathroom, or make the house a few metres longer with Push/Pull. Walls, the roof, the drawings and the material list follow the change.
How much does it cost to build?
It depends on your country, the construction (log, timber frame, CLT), the foundation and how finished the house is. Open the plan in Geoniks to see the estimate for your country where a sourced market price exists, and send it to wooden house manufacturers that build there for real quotes — free and without obligation.
